At Expect Distribution, supporting our community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in making a real difference, and 2024 was a year filled with impactful fundraising, meaningful partnerships, and unwavering commitment to giving back.

Our Charity of the Year: Overgate Hospice

This past year, we were proud to support Overgate Hospice as our Charity of the Year, inspired by their Big Build Appeal to create a state-of-the-art hospice for Calderdale. From thrilling challenges to family fun days, our team went the extra mile to raise an incredible £14,184.25 to support Overgate’s vital work.

Highlights of Our Fundraising Efforts

✅ Firewalk Challenge – We kicked off the year with three fearless team members braving the heat in Overgate’s Firewalk Challenge, setting the tone for an action-packed year of support.

✅ Garden Party Support – In May, we provided not just a helping hand but also a whole truck to assist in transporting equipment for Overgate’s Garden Party, where our very own Ernie the truck delighted guests.

✅ Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – Our board of directors took on the gruelling Yorkshire Three Peaks, testing their endurance and determination to raise vital funds.

✅ Summer Family Fun Day & Raffle – A fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, and fundraising, where all proceeds were donated to Overgate.

✅ Colour Run Sponsorship – We proudly sponsored a station at Overgate’s Colour Run, providing a truck to host the stage for the all-important warm-up and colour party.

✅ Annual Ball & Christmas Jumper Day – As the year came to a close, we joined Overgate for a night of glitz, generosity, and festive fundraising to round off an incredible year.
