Expect Wins ‘Employer of the Year’

Expect Distribution are proud to announce their second award within the last month.

Expect were nominated by employee Gemma Bentley in the  ‘Employer of the Year’  at the category in the 2021 Bradford Means Business Awards that took place on 30^th September at The Bradford Hotel.

This fantastic achievement reflects how Expect has demonstrated their strong investment in all employees during such a difficult time.

The business introduced a new employee development programme, launched annual employee awards (in addition to their continued value of the month employee award)  and improved their employee benefits package.  Themed days at work and ‘Free Brekky Fridays’ are also a regular reward for the dedication of their employees.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Gemma Bentley said  “It was important for me as an employee to acknowledge the fact that Expect Distribution is a great place to work, and that this did not change throughout the pandemic. The work of our Directors and the whole team to keep morale high during such difficult times should not go unnoticed, so it was only right that I put forward my nomination. I am delighted that Expect picked up the award, it is very well deserved”

Managing Director, Neil Rushworth added: “It has been difficult for every business but the effort of the employees and the way they have responded to the company wanting to make it comfortable for them through the pandemic has ben superb. Our employees are a fantastic bunch of people that give us everything, that’s what makes the award”
