When Powersheds set out to disrupt the garden buildings market, they needed a logistics partner who could move at their pace from day one. By designing bespoke logistics around the product, we helped cut delivery from six weeks to three days, and grew with them from 14 pallets in month one to around 500 a month.
The challenge
Garden buildings have always been slow to deliver. A shed could take six weeks to reach a customer, with bulky, awkward products that didn’t fit standard distribution and were vulnerable to damage in transit. As a fast-growing manufacturer, recognised among the Sunday Times’ 100 fastest-growing companies, Powersheds needed to rethink the entire model: a way to deliver a shed quickly, reliably and direct to the consumer, without the lead times and risks that held the industry back.

The solution
We worked with Powersheds from their very first month, designing logistics into the product itself. By developing a modular shed that fits on a pallet, Powersheds turned a six-week delivery into a three-day one. Our expertise shaped the detail: optimal pallet dimensions, how products are packed and loaded, and how to minimise damage while maximising efficiency.
Crucially, our larger-than-standard pallet dimensions, something most pallet networks can’t offer, gave Powersheds the flexibility their products demanded. For items that can’t be palletised, like their log cabins, we provide dedicated contract transport nationwide. And with our local team working on-site every day, alongside the Palletline network behind us, Powersheds gained a partner embedded in their operation, not just delivering for it.
For items that can’t be palletised, like their log cabins, we provide a dedicated and specialist fleet that come with a HIAB, allowing the drivers to deliver the log cabins using a hydraulic crane to exactly where the customer would like.
