Position Overview:

We are hiring a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 1 Driver (tramping) who will be responsible
for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods to designated
locations. The role requires compliance with road traffic laws, company
procedures, and health & safety regulations, while maintaining high
standards of professionalism and customer service.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday // Occasional Saturday’s // Nights out included // 60 hours
​Salary: £50,700 per hour // Night out allowance of £26.20 per night // Early start payment of £40.00 (before 4am)
​Contract Type: Permanent 
​Location: BD6 1DW (Bradford)

Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with BRCGS (food and drink) and GDP
  (medicine) guidelines following training
• Subsequently working
  in a responsible manner that complies with and increases product safety and
  quality
• Safely
  operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle
• Deliver
  and collect goods according to planned routes and schedules
• Carry
  out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Ensure
  loads are secure and transported safely
• Complete
  delivery paperwork and digital records accurately
• Comply
  with EU/UK drivers’ hours, tachograph, and Working Time Directive rules
• Maintain
  cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle
• Communicate
  effectively with transport planners, customers, and depot staff.

Role
Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Good knowledge of road safety and transport
  regulations
• Willingness to work within a banked hours
  arrangement in line with operational requirements.
• Comply with BRCGS (food and drink) and GDP (medicine) guidelines following training
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Good geographical knowledge or ability to use
  navigation systems
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
  where required
